Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. It is widely believed that she was the one who beginning the current scientific study of children's memories of eyewitnesses and children's victims as witnesses in legal situations. Professor Goodman, who has numerous research publications as well as numerous awards to her credit, is also the recipient of a variety of international and national awards. She has consulted with numerous organizations and government officials across the world regarding policies as well as research on children who are victims of the justice system. She has been a consultant with the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the American Psychological Association Divisions for Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
